Twist to dispense
Hold the dispenser upright and give the dual chamber a single, gentle twist. The precision mechanism releases exactly the right amount of color — no measuring, no guesswork. The two formula components stay separate until the moment they meet at the tip.
- One twist covers approximately 1 inch of root growth
- Twist again for thicker hair or wider part lines
- The chamber clicks when the dose is set — you will feel it
Section and apply
Use a comb or your fingers to part your hair and expose the roots. Press the precision tip directly against your roots and glide it along the part line. The formula is thick enough to stay in place without dripping, and thin enough to saturate each strand fully.
- Start at your most visible part — usually the crown or hairline
- Work in small sections for the most even coverage
- Use the tip to gently work color into the root area
- No gloves needed — the formula is designed for clean hands
For gray coverage above 50%, apply a second pass over the densest areas before processing.
Process and wait
Once applied, let the formula process undisturbed. The color develops as the two components work together — this is when the magic happens. You can go about your routine: read, stretch, make coffee. No heat required.
- 20 minutes for light coverage and natural-looking results
- 25–30 minutes for maximum gray coverage
- Do not cover with a shower cap — the formula needs air to develop
- Check color development at the 20-minute mark
Processing time may vary slightly based on hair porosity and gray percentage.
Rinse and reveal
Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Follow with your regular conditioner — the formula is designed to work with your existing hair care routine. Pat dry and style as usual. Your roots are covered, your color is seamless, and you look exactly like yourself.
- Rinse until water runs completely clear — usually 2–3 minutes
- Use cool water for the final rinse to seal the cuticle and boost shine
- Condition as normal — Crown Blend is compatible with all conditioners
- Avoid shampooing for 24 hours to let color fully set

How long does the color last?
Crown Blend root touch-up lasts 4–6 weeks depending on your hair growth rate and how often you wash. The formula is fade-resistant and designed to match your existing color as it grows out naturally.
Can I use it on previously colored hair?
Yes. Crown Blend is formulated to work on both virgin and previously colored hair. For best results, match the shade to your current color rather than your natural color.
What if I pick the wrong shade?
Use our Shade Finder to get a personalized recommendation. If you are between shades, go one level darker — it is easier to blend a slightly darker root than a lighter one.
Is it safe for sensitive scalps?
Crown Blend is formulated without ammonia, parabens, or resorcinol. We recommend a patch test 48 hours before first use, especially if you have a history of color sensitivity.
How much product do I need per application?
Most users need 1–2 twists per application. The dual-chamber dispenser is calibrated so one full twist covers approximately 1 inch of root growth along a standard part line.
